Komakas

A restaurant in warm timber slats and low light

At Komakas, vertical timber slats cut to an undulating profile glow across the facade and run again along the dining room wall. Under sculpted paper pendants, a long timber chef's counter ends in a block of rough dark stone and faces banquettes with checkered orange cushions. Beside the entrance, a small rock garden sits behind lattice screens, and a faceted bar front catches the low light.
